This blue cake decorating machine achieves a professional finish. Its rotating platform and adjustable vertical and horizontal blades ensure a flawless cake surface by removing excess buttercream or icing. The machine’s speed is adjustable from 40 to 225 RPM in 10 RPM increments, with the turntable rotating in either direction for maximum flexibility.

Even finish and smooth sides

Place the cake in the centre of the cake decorating machine. Place the vertical knife along the cake and rotate the tray manually, ensuring the distance between the knife and the cake is even. If necessary, adjust the position of the cake. Then move the vertical knife against the cake and the horizontal knife across the top. Turn on the cake decorating machine, set the desired speed (the recommended speed is 75-85 RPM) and use a piping bag with your chosen cream (such as buttercream or ganache). Start by piping the cream from the top outwards. The rotating cake will remove excess cream through the blades while the top is finished. Once the top is done, pipe the cream along the sides, working from top to bottom. Adjust the blades for sharper corners or a thinner layer of cream, depending on your preference.
